Where i work people hang posters on the walls of the restroom. When the posters are removed, the tape stays behind. This has lead to there being lots of little strips of tape all over the walls. Not just the adhesive, but the actual piece of tape. I have tried knife blades and razors (did as much damage to the paint as it did in removing the tape), goo gone, paint thinner and soapy water (not at the same time--none of them did a thing) and my fingernails-nothing. Any other ideas?

The refrigerator was left to me when i bought the house last year. So, i don't know how old it is. It was working fine except it makes this "clunk" sound everytime the motor stop. It just stop working all of sudden. The motor is still running, but no cold air produced.

I'm considering building a shed as kind of a changing room/ hang out room by my pool. How much can i expect to spend assuming it will be about 8x12 and i'm doing the construction myself (also there wont be electricty or plumbing) Also how hard will it be to construct and where can i find a simplified verison of the codes that will apply.

i just bought 60 acres of land in huntington w.v. and i noticed some type of pond about 20 feet by 50 feet in one part of it. without going into a lot of money i would love to turn it into a nice spot on the property to come sit and relax at. would love to see some frogs or turtles around it or maybe fish in it. maybe even build a small pier or deck in one spot. there is a lot of weeds and brush around it. any advice on how to clean up and decorate the area inside and outside of the pond? thanks in advance!

The people who worked on the roof they closed eleven holes in the roof for roof-vent with shingles, and they installed vents afterwards.

Now the contractor says there is no problem in installing Vents and Drip edge after the roof work is done? Is he telling truth??

I really want to be a culinary artist and I'm looking for chef knives. There are just so many out on the market I have no idea. Shun, Kershaw, etc. I need something reasonably priced being a college student and all, great quality, will last a long time, and looks good. I would prefer a kit (I would think it to be cheaper so I wouldn't have to by all the knives separately) with a bag, not a case. The only brand I really don't like esp look wise is Carbon. Which brand should I get and why?
