I've tried windex, mr clean, and tub & tile cleaner with bleach in it (which I let sit for several minutes). Nothing has worked. Any help is appreciated!

There is a fabulous little trick for removing permanent marker from clothing and other surfaces... it is Buff Puff Facial Cleaning Pads. I get the CVS brand, as they are cheaper than the name-brand ones. They are little sponges that have the cleaning agent already on them. You just wet the sponge and create a lather, then scrub the surface that is stained and rinse with clean water. These things are great, because you can keep a few in a zip lock baggie and keep them in your purse for emergency stains/spills. It take pen, kool-aid and permanant marker out...

Good luck!

gojo works miracles. You can find it in auto supply stores, as its a hand cleaner for those really messy/greasy jobs. I think Wal-Mart even sells it. My daughter used a sharpie marker on the leather interior of my vehicle. I used gojo and it was gone. I have also used it to remove marker stains from the walls, and from my sons playstation.

I once heard somebody (family friend) that the Mr.Clean eraser worked wonders and got it all off. You could try straight bleach. Once,I got permanant marker on a tuper ware bowl, and after alot of soap and water (5x) it left.
Good luck!

Fast Orange hand cleaner worked great.

Tried Goof-Off first and was worried when it didn't work; I thought it would dissolve anything (I was a little concerned about my countertop).

I used a few drops of cascade Rinse Aid. Came after I rubbed it in and didn't damage the countertop!

Surprisingly, I got Sharpie marks off of my desk by using a Clorox Disenfectant Wipe. Or you could use hand sanitizer...that stuff is strong!
