I am wanting to start some kind of tradition for Christmas with my kids. I am the first to admit though that I am not crafty. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can make with my kids that is age appropriate for them. One is 3 and one is 5. Thank you in advance.

I live in an apartment building. At the entrance into the basement for car parking is a trench and everyone has to very slow down to cross that . I applied cement but it was gone as cars passed over it before it was hard. Super also doesn't care. Is there any material semisolid or liquid (or it becomes liquid on little heating) which I can apply there and it solidfies within a min. or so. thanks.

A friend of mine tried to use bleach to remove mildew stains off her daughter's shirt, and she has washed the shirt twice now and the shirt has holes all over it.

I live in a neighborhood of modest one story ranch houses from the early 80s. Some have wood siding, some aluminum. Mine is wood. I live on a wooded lot. Right now it's dark brown, which I think is too dark for pictures. What's a good color to pick as far as resale is concerned? What about the trim? Thanks :-)!

I wanted to do it in October, but never got around to it. We're in a bit of a warm spell now (I live in the mid-Atlantic region).

I can easily add third bedroom by using some "extra" space in adjacent frontroom. Wondering minimal size appropriate for child bedroom. Also, can put fridge "nook" in kitchen that would add extra space and enlarge kitchen. Can do most of the work myself. Need to decide if these changes are worth the potential increase in value of home? Appreciate advice.

No, it's not Fred! It's the one's you generally see everywhere at Christmas with an orangie coloured berry on it? I'm not very good with plants so need to know what it is so I can research how to take tlc of it ... at least until my boss has seen it at least once in good condition!

The flames on our gas fire don't burn evenly just in pockets. I've taken out all the coals and removed as much dust from the filter thing at the bottom but it doesn't help. Any ideas?
