Some years ago in an interior design magazine I came across an article about a furniture maker who made really unusual furniture with curved tops and fronts and carved lizards and othe unusual features attached. Does anyone know who he is and whether he has a website,
Thanks

THe bed has pegs at the top. My grandfather wrapped only ropes around it and used a straw ticking on the top. I have read it is instead a bed that was made for a sack base. If so, how do I tell the age of this bed?

My automatic garage door opener has begun to stop after moving a couple of feet, either up or down; the sensor is not obstructed - I suspect cold weather is freezing the spring axle on the door, but oiling it didn't help.

Opinions?

I was wondering if pergo wood would be a good fit for using in a office in our house? The carpet we have in their now wasn't installed fully and is actully not even secured to the ground, atleast not all of it is. I heard good things about it.

Ok, I bought this truck that was obviously smoked in. Don't tell me that Febreeze works, because it doesn't! I've used it like 6 times. I've also tried Odo-Ban. I have TWO of thsoe Arm and Hammer baking soda things for the fridge (yeah, I know it's not a fridge but still) and they haven't touched it. I also have in there a Renuzit gel odor trapper thing, but it's not working great either. I can't really just roll the windows down and let nature take it's course because it is FREZZING here in Missouri. HELP?! Anyone know what to do?

P.S. Oh yeah, it's already been detailed and that didn't do the trick either. GRRRRRR!!!

I've come across far too many cowboys in my time and need to find good, reliable tradespeople who do a good job and don't rip you off.Any ideas on how to find them. I usually rely on recommendations these days from friends but that's not always possible.
