I don't have a clue how much painting the trim should cost on a brick home, I would prefer to use an individual contractor rather than one from S(Lowes) or Home Despot.

I want to swim, but my swimsuit is wet from yesterday. I hate the cold/clammy feeling of putting on a damp swimsuit. Is it okay to put it in the dryer, or will that mess it up?

I replaced draft inducer kit because motor was screeching, furnace was not working and fault code 42 (Inducer Outside Valid Speed Range) was flashing. After motor was replaced, furnace worked but after a half hour, furnace would not light and code 42 flashed again. After shut off for 2 hours, furnace worked for a half hour again then would not work. Any suggestions ?

Built a log cabin with walkout basement. Walkout has a frost wall at 4' and it continues on each side back 12'. Outside on the side and back is backfilled to 6' .
It will not be heated in winter. Under the 4" concrete floor I installed 2" styrofoam insulation out from the footings 2'. Any thing else I should do so no damage - heaving happens?

Do those ionic ones really work? I heard the ions they release can damage your lungs. I need one that can clean the air of dust and odors, rinsable with no filters to replace. Know of any?

Building a log cabin with loft. Have installed metal roof on 1x4 strapping which is on top of 2x10 rafters. Slope is 1:8 . Used mainly in the summer and fall - occasional weekend in winter. How should I insulate so I don't get condensation damaging the pine ceiling I intend to install on the under side of the rafters.

My pool is leaking. I closed off the bottom main drain because I thought that was where the leak was coming from. Apparently, that wasn't it because it is still leaking..about 1 inch every 24 hours. Once the water level gets to the bottom of my return jet, there is no more leakage. After the pump has been off for a while, there is little water left in the pump. It takes about 15 to 20 seconds, then it finally blows water out the jet in the pool. Since I am only operating from my skimmer now, does this mean the leak has to be in the suction line (between my skimmer and pump) or could it be in the pressure line between the pump and the return jet? When I do get the pump primed again, it never loses all the bubbles.
