When you get the oil stain, put baby powder all over it. Leave it over night and the next day wash it in your washing machine with normal washing powder. The baby powder will lift the stain. My grandmother told me this and I have tried it and it works.

Uh-oh!
Try "Carbona Stain Devils" brand, specifically for oil/grease stains.
1.7 ounces costs about $3.00, but it's a really good product.
Good Luck.

If it's white, you could bleach it with normal bleach from the Dollar General Store or the Family Dollar Store. These are reliable stores with low prices on everything!!!!!! My mother would probably do this if the clothing item was white. If I were you, though, I would make sure that the bleach is not too strong.

Use Dawn dishwashing liquid or any other dish liquid that says it's good on grease. Rub it in good, and toss it in the washer. Works every time!! It has even worked on grease stains that I thought had been "set" in the dryer.

Go to massagewarehouse.com and buy what's called "Clean Sheets" - it's what massage therapists use to wash their sheets and towels with , because oil of course gets all over them. It works great!
