I agree get 3 bids,but, make sure they all show you there Home Improvement Contractors Reg.They have to be registered with the Dept.of Consumers Protection. You are going to need a plan of the garage to get your building permit and also Zoning compliance. I would check with your Zoning Dept. first to see what size garage (due to set back regs) you can fit on your property.
