I soak a rag in bleach and lay it on the area I am trying to clean up. My shower/tub was horrible around the corners and that cleared it right up. (I left it over night.) My husband uses a Brillo pad and a lot of elbow grease.

I use scrubbing bubbles, or clorox cleanup, and just start scrubbing. The best thing to do is spray it with clorox cleanup everytime you get out of the tub or shower and it keeps it from building up so much.

Try this cloth. You have to buy in packages of 5 but they are only like $3 bucks a piece. I have ordered them and use them on everything, especially windows. They are made out of tiny fibers that work like razor blades. They are guaranteed not to scratch and all you do is rinse the cloth under water, wring it out and wipe ANY surface with no streaks or scratch. Use em over and over. I have not thrown one away yet!
I even waxed my car with it! I am sold on this ...I encourage you to try it out.

If you're lazy (like me LOL) just use The Works bathroom and tile cleaner. No scrubbing! The toilet cleaner works great too and best of all, they're cheap.

try a solution of Oxy clean and water, or use hydrogen peroxide. it is an anti-fungal, anit-bacterial.... in short it kills EVERY thing. use a 1/3 hydrogen peroxide to 2/3 water.... it works great on toilets!!
