put black lights in my room (if they're not called black lights it's the kind of lights where when you turn them on everything like white glows and stuff like that...like the kind of lights when you go to like glo golf or glo bowling). or do you think i would get sick of it? and there are 3 open spaces where i can put the lights- but they're all in one spot. or should i just keep them in like a drawer and when ever i want take them out and put them in? or should i just leave them there permentally?

I mean, if the tree is going to suffer or something bad could happen to it. I just put it some christmas lights and it is a new
alberta spruce.

Is there a way to check if existing wall insulation is done properly or if there are any gaps? What about buying or renting a scanner to scan the walls? If I hire a company to fill in our walls with wall insulation, how do i know if they are doing it right?

i have the whole furnished part of the basement as my room. its like a studio apartment minus a bathroom and a kitchen. what can i do that isn't expensive to get the most use out of this room. its seperated into roughly three parts. right now ones my room. ones where my computer is, and one just has a sofa in it. and it has to be plenty cost effective cuz my mom is a tightwad at times.

I am looking to get a new zipper put on to an ice fishing shanty. The problem is I can not find anyone to do the work. It is approx 7 ft long and is sewn onto canvas. The canvas is attached to a sled, and not removable. I am assuming that you would need a hand held sewing machine or it would have to be done by hand. Can anyone help?

Particularly bad at night. There is a bat colony in the roof, but no smell in the attic. There are no human hygiene reasons for the smell... I have checked THOROUGHLY! The smell moves round the room. This does not occur every night, and generally lasts 15-30mins at a time.

I recently had the furnace guy out, to turn on my furnace, well my fam member turned it off w/out knowing, the pilot light is on, but the fan is not blowing at all, it was working fine till she shut it off.
What can I do myself, ?????
It is currently 60 degrees in my home, 17 degrees outside, and freezing in here, mind you I gradually turned it up to see if it would start working, but nothing.
please help. I have three small children.
