I have a pretty nice brown leather jacket that was purchased at Wilsons, it's still fairly new. There are some scratches on it. I think it got caught in a door. The scratches however aren't very deep. Can they be repaired?????

I bought a direct-vent wall furnace from Home Depot online. I've been trying to return it for over a month because the gas company would not approve it. I have tried everything I can think of to speed this up. I have called 6 times in the last 33 days & every time I call I get a different story about their policy and how long it will take to get a shipping label in mail, or to get a phone call from the trucking company that's going to pick it up.
They are really giving me the run-around on this.
And no, I can not take it to a Home Depot store, I've asked that a few times, and they can not e-mail a shipping label for me to print out.
Any suggestions on how I can handle this matter? Is there any place I can call to report them? I have even told them that I am disabled and this huge box is in my way & I keep almost falling bumping into it (that is not a lie).
Any help would be appreciated.
I couldn't find a category to put this in, hopes it's ok in this one.

Im currently decorating a medical centre, and am now ready to do the finish coats. I am spraying the paint using an STmax 195. After completing the 1st room, I notice that the paint had servely slid after about 10 mins. Im using acylic eggshell, " achitects instructions". I tried serveral different spray tips and also varied the thicknes of the paint, but it made no difference. Would anyone agree that it may the cold weather, its around 8c inside, but the walls are probably around 4 or 5c. Should I try heating the rooms ? I gotta have this finished in early December, and goin back to a roller and brush will really cost me some time ! Any comments would be great !

I am trying to take apart a plastic pump housing on an electric motor. I was able to remove all but one phillips head screw. the screw was rusted and stripped when I tried to remove it. I have tried to tap it with no luck and remove it with an easy-out drill bit which just stripped it further. I need to salvage the plastic housing so I can not damage it removing the last screw. Note: the srew it going onto a metal female recepter thats glued into the platic housing. Any Thoughts would be appreciated THANK YOU

I have 1/2 HP screw drive garage door opener. I like this model because it has a SAFE-T beam feature that stops the door if a child is under the door while the opener is closing down.

Now, the problem is that when I use the control by the wall, I can close it but when I use the remote control, I had to press it so many times before the door closes, if at all. 95% of the time, the door just starts to close and then springs back up, even if there is no object obstructing the laser beam at the bottom. I have cleaned the glass of the "eye", replaced the battery for the control with a new, fresh one, replaced the coil springs and still no luck. I am resigned to getting out of my truck each time and use the wall control and lower the door to a point where I can I can slip right thru and use the remote to close the door completely. In short, I have to use both the wall control and remote control to open and close my garage door.

Any suggestions? Help!
