Take a 50/50 mixture of water and fabric softener. Spray it on and wait about 2 min or so and the wall paper will come off in the full sheets. It's very easy and makes your house smell good too.

Scoring the paper with a tool made for the job then thoroughly wetting sometimes works. Use a garden hose hooked up to a hot and cold water faucet, with a spray attachment. Very carefully spray the walls with water as hot as you can stand, rapidly catching anything that drips down to the floor with towels.
You will likely run out of dry towels. You can use newspaper too.

Get a scoring tool, Score the paper to be removed and then use DIF. You can find them at most home improvement stores and wallpaper shops. Do only a small section at a time, though.

Possibly warm soapy water but it still takes ages and is very messy. Steaming is the quickest, easiest and cleanest way to remove wall paper without a doubt.

apply the jell type wall paper remover, suck down a coupple of brews, then score it with brillo pads, followed by scrapping with a putty knife.
A second application of the jell stuff, followed by another brew, may be needed
