I have IKEA “adel” medium brown cabinets (an orangey-red color), stainless steel appliances, black granite counter tops, brushed nickel hardware and sand colored tiles. Does anyone else have a similar kitchen and if so, what color did you paint it? I would like to use some color, maybe an accent wall. My kitchen is not huge, so I’m afraid to go too dark. The rest of my house is very calm—blues, beiges, etc.

My boyfriend and I brought two traps about 6 weeks ago but this rodent is clever and hides well. We are really tired of the droppings and we keep the house fairly clean so we do not know what to do. We want it out NOW! Any suggestions?

I mean down here we have always suffered with mosquito's bad, but damn you can't even open your doors without fifty invading your house. I will tell you that if you spray Bengal Dry Powder spray in your house they will die fairly quickly. Me and my husband have said that we haven't even noticed a Mosquito truck spraying this last summer. Where are our tax monies going???

I am trying to replace a leaky valve stem in my shower fixtures. It is a two handle shower. I am trying to loosen the stem by turning it in the ON position but I can't get it to move past a certain point. Does that mean I am weak or that I not supposed to pull it past that point. Thanks,

My first attempt at using a 66 block was a complete failure. I used an impact punchdown tool with a cutting tip. The clips do not seem to hold the punchdown wires very well. Did I just get a cheap block? The gap that is intended to hold the wire seems to have spread after punching it down. Are you supposed to be able to reuse these connections? Are they only good for one punch?
