get something that will give you fullness and left overs. spaghetti is good. I even prefer it meatless. You can get quite a few groceries with 25$. I would get a dozen eggs, loaf of bread, some meat for meatloaf as one meal then have sandwiches for another meal, frozen green peas or beans, small bag of potatoes, a chicken to bake then make sandwiches or soup out of whats left over. you definitely wont starve. check out dollar stores for canned veggies and soups. m

You can make something that will last for 2 or 3 nights of dinners. Buy a large beef roast, bag of potato's,bread, carrots, celory, and whatever else. The first night have roast and potato's,next night use the left over roast and make a beef stew with the veggies,or roast beef sandwiches,Load your stew with veggies.Last longer. If you put your mind to it you can figure it out. I gotta do it all the time.

When I was poor I practically lived on rice. One bag will last much longer than 5 meals with money left over to buy some PB&J, butter, sugar, cinnamon or frozen veges.

Good Luck!

In ohio you can get a 12 pack of ramen noodles for 68 cents. If you can accept living on that then... Try going to Save'A'Lot if you have one near you. Thats where I go, spend $50 a month and eat well.

examine and observe what's on sale at your food market. i might want to p.c.. up some Ramen purely in case, yet seek for different soups. Cereal and bread and prepackaged lunch meat (or peanut butter) are different solid bets. likely will favor to eat as low as conceivable this week to make it on $20.
