I started removed wall paper and it is so hard to get off. I noticed it is glued directly on the sheet rock. My house is about 90 yrs. old and I can't paint over it, cause it will show the seams. I need help.

I would love any suggestions.

The blade is not turning I manually tried to loosen and it turned a couple of times and I was able to pull it once and then "bound" up - I really need this to mulch the leaves in the natural areas and would like to keep it going - it stopped while in use (about 1 hour) and it may have debris in side the housing but I don't know how to get anything out or into the area - this happened last spring and I just put it up for the summer - this fall I tried it and it worked so I don't know what is going on I have cleaned the air filter and added a new spark plug any advice will be appreciated

I stripped my hardwood floor and have put on one coat of polyurethane already and am waiting for it to dry. My question is, the can says I need to sand betwen layers, what would happen if I didn't sand in between?? Would it be okay to just put down another coat of poly once the first one is completely dry?
Thanks!

hello, I have just moved into a apartment, and due to the layout I can only really put my plant on top of my microwave. Someone told me that I should watch my plant cause they might not like the energy coming from it. Is this really true?

We are moving in a week. I have been moving stuff out of the back room where the litter box is, only to discover that there is one area that is VERY stained, that I was unaware of. What can be done about cat pee stains on a hardwood floor? We'd like to have a chance of getting PART of the security deposit back....

Try as I might, I can't get it unscrewed. It seems too tight or "off track." The lightbulb isn't busted yet--it still has its glass.

How would I paint over gloss that is aplied to wood?

The wood is currently a nasty orange/cream colour and I want to paint it black gloss.
What would be the proper way to prepare and paint the wood?
Would I need an undercoat considering I wil be painting over in black or do I need to remove all the old paint first?

in colder weather notice a space of about 1/4" between some of the slats - where you can see wood underneath. seems to close up in warmer weather. what can be done to alleviate this opening to protect the wood underneath? don't want to remove siding if not needed.

However I am unable at this time, do to lack of knowledge, to completely get it disassmbled. Does anyone know how to take one completely apart? And could I get the instructions to do so? Thank you!!

They are roughly the size of aphids, but they are fat and rarely move. They have infested my impatiens and cause the foliage to wither and die. What are they and how do I get rid of them? I have tried wiping the leaves with diluted dish detergent, but they keep coming back. Any suggestions? I'd prefer not to use pesticides, but may as a last resort.

I have recently painted my living room a new color. Unfortunately the wall is darker than where I cut in at the top and bottom with a brush. Is there any way to fix this without repainting the whole wall? Any help would be appreciated. This whole painting project is turning into a disaster.

I am painting my mom's house and obviously the ceiling is one color in each room, and the walls a different color. So, how do you paint EXACTLY to the edges? The roller doesn't completely go that high. Is this some sort of device I can buy that will make the painting job look professional?

I have been looking for an antique dealer and or apraiser to find out the true value of an antique coffee percolaor that my mom has aquired about 20 years ago. We know that the percolator has been estimated to have been back in the 1920's. The person that said that is was a 1920's model also told us that he wouldn't be able to afford what it could be worth but no amount was said. In the past few years we have had three other people say that saw the percolator and said that they would not be able to afford what the pot could be worth. Once again no amount was stated. Two of those people that said that they wouldn't be able to afford it were dealers themselves but they weren't appraisers. The percolator is in excellent condition. No wear and tear on the percolator and on the original tags that are still attached to the pot. The pot also has the original coffee still encased within the pot. Any more information would be greatly appreciated.
