Currently i'm living with my parents and sleeping on an air mattress that i'm in love with (8XD). I'm in the process of moving out and want to get a bedframe for the air matress but my mom says it wont work becuase it will pop. She says the sides of the frame will put pressure on it and make it pop. I think thats wrong but i want others opinions before i buy a bedframe. Its a standard twin so logically i can just buy a twin frame and put the mattress in right?

The geothermal would be supplied by underground horizontal piping, with under floor heating.

The radiators would be supplied by a conventional oil burner.

Our insurance company is paying for all repairs and mold cleanup (except for $500 deductible). Question: as part of our claim with the insurance company, should we also include medical costs and lost wages due to being allergies as a result of the mold? Anything else to include in the claim I may not be thinking of?

My outlet had a little red light that is flashing and making an annoying sound... what is it? The power still works. The light doesnt stop if I take the plug out. Does anyone have any idea what this is? I live in a dorm room and can't ask the electrician because No pets are aloud and I have a bunny in my room.
What should I do? It is an annoying sound and I won't be able to sleep with it doing that.

How do I keep raccoons (or maybe opossums) from getting into my trash cans at night? I even had plastic cans with locking lids, but they chewed right through the lids and continue to pull trash out night after night. Sometimes they knock over the cans and pull entire bags out, scattering it all over my backyard.

Anyone know how to stop them?

The very dangerous Hawaiian centipede is a real scourge in a home. I have heard many different techniques for ridding them, including using Hawaiian rock salt at doorways. What actually works? Is it safe? How long does it work?
