We are moving in a week. I have been moving stuff out of the back room where the litter box is, only to discover that there is one area that is VERY stained, that I was unaware of. What can be done about cat pee stains on a hardwood floor? We'd like to have a chance of getting PART of the security deposit back....

Sand the floor and then use a wood bleach and reseal the floor. this will take a few days get the Wood Bleach from a home improvement store and follow label directions.

you have to refinish the whole floor, very expensive. Pee stains penetrate deep and can not be cleaned, they must be sanded out.

I easily have the coolest comparable difficulty in my residing house. regrettably, the only factor that would artwork is having the flooring sanded, then restained and revarnished. If that doesn't artwork, they'd would desire to do away with the stained floorboards and replace them.
