I have sprayed, cauked, put down traps, and have the ultrasound things plugged into nearly every outlet. Nothing seems to work. A waterbug the size of Rhode Island walked right in through the bottom of my front door last night. What else can I do? I put down blobs of the goop you buy in the store, that they eat and then die in the nest. Will this work? Do those ultrasound things work? Is there a certain brand I need to get? I have Black and Deckers now.

i'm possibly moving into a place with a pink bathroom. i'm not talking walls. i mean sink, tub and toilet are pink! that's not all...the ceramic floor is also pink. i can live with the tub. i can put a shower curtain in front of it, but i want to replace the toilet and sink as well as the floor. i'm also concerned that there may be a little issue behind the toilet as the floor seems a little lower back there. so, i may have to pull up some of the floor and replace it. what do you think it will cost? generally. i haven't ever done anything like this before and i wonder if it will be 500 bucks or 2500 bucks.

I don't know anything about woodworking, nor do I have any woodworking tools. So, whatever I build will have to be VERY simple! I thought about maybe using columns for legs. Would that even work?

It is cement with a cement half circle cap, but no sprikler head like on a septic system. The current owner says she doesn't know what it is, and I'm just afraid it may be an old oil tank. If you don't know what it is, any ideas of how I find out?
Thanks everyone!

I have a little weeping willow tree. I've had it for 18 months and it has done very well even though I'm not green fingered. It is about 1 metre high. My new dog has just been chewing on the trunk and hasn't gone all the way though but the tree is looking very sad and I may lose it. Any ideas what I can do to revive and protect it??

The purse was in plastic when I bought it. My friend bought the same purse and hers wasn't in plastic and it doesn't smell. When I cleaned it, I washed it inside and out and let it air dry. It didn't smell bas when it was wet, only after it dried.

I have off-white kitchen tiles. When they were fitted they have some dark marks on them that the builder said was part of the design of the tile. How would I remove these stains/marks?

We were in Croatia and the hotels there use twin size duvet covers over light weight blankets for sheets on a king size bed. Where can I find this type of duvet cover? This eliminates the need for an extra blanket under a quilt, and allows each person to have their own top sheet

have a thirteen foot banister with nineteen turned newels (approx every eight inches). Upper portion attached to a wall, terminates in a vertical piece on lower floor. Other than most all being rounded surfaces, not any difficult to coat features. Now has a pickled stain finished (my guess) with polyurethane. I want it white. My guess is that the job will require degalzing, primer coat, and finish coat. The market is a Southern state capital, middle class residence/neighborhood.

What's a reasonable price range for the labor for a quality job? Is there a formula?

heres the situation,I have chemical sensitivies for which im under a doctors care,I have to work hard at keeping my environment clear of all scents, fumes, smoke, chemicals etc.Because any of those will make me terribly ill. There is a policy written on the lease of the apartment about grills and they are not allowed on the balconies or patios,my balcony is right above the downstairs neighbors.Yesterday they fired up a grill and the overwhelming smell of lighter fluid came surging into my apartment, along with smoke fumes. It became so toxic i couldnt breathe.well its been 24 hours and the smell is still there! I called the apartment management and boy are they RUDEEEEEEEEEEEEE.They just said that they rnt allowed to do that and they will send them a letter. In the meantime I am feeling sick in my apartment and nothing I do will make the smell go away,i cant use any thing to mask the odor cause i cant use fragrances...WHAT THE HELL CAN I DO???

I have a 3-way light switch in my home. Last night I turned it on and heard a crackling noise. I smelled hot wires , so I shut the switch off. I'm very afraid that this may start a fire in my home. Any ideas as to what's causing this and how can I fix it?
