The only thing you should use on real leather is warm soppy water it does work but will take a few goes. dont forget red leather is dyed any chemicals will remove dye take care and good luck

Same problem,same colour sofa,had mark five years and
nothing we have used helped,tried every thing bar a blow torch
give hubby a ring see what the reaction is if anger turn on water works when he gets home If that dont work,run away

Try baby wipes, they are pretty good at geting stains off lots of stuff. They're OK on leather, I use them to get the dead flies off my bike leathers!

You can get a cream cleaner from scotchguard, it removes all types of stains from leather. remember to only use the one that tells you it's for leather products, and use it spairingly.

Rubbing acohol works, pour a little on a clean white towel, then rub gently until it comes off. You might have to continue to apply lightly.
