the wood part already has paint on it and it's a very light sage, but I want to paint it a creme or beige, do i need to use a primer? I think I don't cause i would have to remove all the sage paint and then prime it. what do you think?

I have a garden office at end of 100 ft garden. Can I just run a normal phone extension lead, or should I get a special lead, similar to armoured cable used for the electric feed. Do BT offer such a service, I asked but she didnt seem to know what she was talking about!l

Wet baking pans have caused rust stains to appear on my Formica counter top. The stain seems to have "set", and nothing I try removes it. What would you suggest trying.

I have a gas dry that wont start. The gas is on (i think) and the little ignitor comes on. After 5 minutes of use, its isnt very hot in the basket. What do I do. Does it need more time?

Normal bubble-bath causes foam to almost reach the bathroom ceiling - even when you use a small amount!

I have a gas dryer and have not been able to get it to work. The little ignitor comes on but after five minutes, very little heat. Should I give it more time to heat up or what?

You helped me save my begonia in the past, due to my total ignorance. Now, it does not appear to have fungus, but the leaves are drooping at the edges. I don't put too much water in it, as that is what gave it the fungus. Is it getting too little? It is in an south-facing window bay in Southern California. Do leaves droop during cold? Any help would be appreciated.

I want to move a downstairs bathroom which is at the end of the kitchen in a victorian terraced house upstairs into the bedroom above the kitchen.
Roughly how much will this cost (not including the cost of the bathroom suite)?
i don't expect an exact amount but a rough idea would be great.Thanks.

Since its started to get cold outside we have had lots of spiders in our apartment. The apartment complex isn't very helpful with those types of things. We want to make sure that our toddler isn't bitten by speders in her sleep. What can we do?

our fridge at work is really grubby and really needs a good clean (and guess who's the only mug that will do it?) so i was just wondering, what can i use to clean it that won't require much elbow grease and isn't too chemical? i've heard that bicarbonate of soda and washing up liquid mixed to a paste is a wonder solution for cleaning - has anyone tried this?
