I want to move a downstairs bathroom which is at the end of the kitchen in a victorian terraced house upstairs into the bedroom above the kitchen.
Roughly how much will this cost (not including the cost of the bathroom suite)?
i don't expect an exact amount but a rough idea would be great.Thanks.

new suite = 350
materials = 150
tiles = 100
labour (5days @200per day) = 1000
sundries and accessories = 150

Total = £1750 (give or take depending on things like waste pipes, and how much tiling you want and whether you want a shower over the bath etc)

There would then be a few hundred pounds to decomsission the downstairs bathroom and turn it into a normal room (plastering etc)

where are you - I do this for a living - if you're near west midlands I can quote you properly - drop me a mail.

Moving Bathroom Upstairs

Labour cost to build typical size bathroom from zero. £4000.

For me this included starting with a room that is nothing but bare plastered walls and floor boards to, tiled floor, tiled walls floor to ceiling, installed suite, build shower cubical from unused airing cupboard (bathroom slightly bigger now). That should even cover extending major waste pipe to upstairs.

About 1500 - 2000, depending on size and stuff.
