My gas dryer wont start?

I have a gas dry that wont start. The gas is on (i think) and the little ignitor comes on. After 5 minutes of use, its isnt very hot in the basket. What do I do. Does it need more time?

If the igniter is glowing, then it should light the gas. If the problem is that it does not turn, remove the back panel (About 12 screws) and see if the drive belt is broken. If not, then it could be the motor.

SOME MODELS HAVE A LITTLE PHOTO -CELL WINDOW NEAR THE FLAME... IF THIS IS OBSTRUCTED IT WILL SHUT DOWN THE GAS. IF THAT'S THE CASE, SOME Q-TIPS ATTACHED TO A STICK CAN CLEAN THE GLASS & GET THING GOING AGAIN ( IF THATS THE PROBLEM)
