I have two orchids and they never bloom. They have green roots and leaves and have been that way forever. The stalk has turned brown. They are planted in a mixture of dirt and lava rocks. my mom treats her orchids exactly the same and hers are beautiful and seem to always have blooms. what am I doing wrong? i've tried moving them to different locations around my house and on my patio. I water them about once a week.

I got this condo as an auction, so everything is "as is". The inspection said everything was fine. But when I tried to move in I realized that there is no water at all coming out when I turn on the hot water in the kitchen or shower. The cold water is fine. Then my neighbor came to tell me that she has the same problem because our water lines are connected. It seem like when they winterized the property they messed with the lines and now they're all screwed up. I'm trying to have the people who did this come and fix it, but there's the possibility that they'll refuse to do it. If this is the case, is it a very complex problem? How expensive do you think it will be to fix?

......a couple years ago, and now wants to try growing veggies in her garden again soon. Do you think it's safe now, and if not what should she do. It can't be moved because it was done in the only sunny spot in her yard, the only possible place for a garden. Do you think it's safe now? Grass is growing good there now.

i have just built a 12mtr long by 2.5 mtr wide by .8 mtr deep pool with a disappearing edge on one of the long sides. we have a problem with the water going over the edge. I think that there may be 2 issues actually. 1. The edge is not exactly level. 2. we may not have enough water volume. 3. the water may not be returning fast enough into the pool. ie: the pump is too small. How can i determine the problem?

Why would you choose that city?

Do you know of a city near the coast in Washington that doesn't rain a lot???

Would you buy a home already made or would you buy property and have a home built?

If you have a home built would you use the manufactured kind?

(this otta keep you busy eh? LOL)

It's a (heavy wooden) gate into a pool so needs to swing all the way to the latch - currently it stops about 2cm shy and no amount of tensioning of the springs will push it further

I clean houses and am worried about the toxicity of the chemicals I use almost everyday. I don't use gloves, and will not, so I'm trying to find some cleaners that don't hurt me, and heck, the environment too, while I'm at it. The cleaner has to be multipurpose, has to work well, and also disinfects or is at least antibacterial. What kind of cleaners do hospitals use? Where can I get these cleaners?
