I have two small gardens. One has cherry tomatoes with a few regular tomato plants mixed in and I have another with regular tomatoes and cucumbers. My problem is it's been raining here for a couple of days now and when I checked on the garden the tomatoes look like their all bursting out. Some are still very light red in color, not ready to be picked. I want them to grow to full size then pick them but the rain is ruining them! Can someone give me any advice to save my tomatoes? Thanks!!

I am not quite sure what z strips are and where I can buy them. All I know is they are to be placed behind the outside molding of my window to prevent leaks.

I've decided to install a second hand back boiler I have acquired in my open fire. As I bought it 2nd hand I have no documentation with it. I will plumb it into my existing central heating along with a pump and a 3 way valve to switch it in and out of circuit by means of a themostat. I am aware that I will need to vent off some heat so have decided to install 2 old radiators in the loft in series as it gets very cold up there in the winter. I am not sure of the amount of BTUs the back boiler will produce so I can only guess on how mant radiators to put in the loft to vent off excess heat.....It is an 18" wrap around back boiler I have.....I Live in Scotland....Can anyone advise me ?

I have a house. Every thing works find but the ACs blow fuses. I need circuits for the AC's I have the expansion space in the fuse box. But people seem to now work on them. However, I was told that having one wasn't against code. The service is 100 AMPs which right now is okay. I'd rather not liquidate my savings to up grade to 200 AMP service, just to get dedicated AC outlets.

My mother has a Rose of Sharon bush which always gets lots of buds, but they never develop into blooms. We live in Indiana (I'm not sure which zone that is), but she has many other Rose of Sharon bushes, and they all bloom. What could be wrong? Is there anything she can do to make it bloom?

You know what I mean; when you leave a shirt on a hanger for too long, then decide to wear it, pull it off, and the impression from the hanger has left dimples in the shoulders. Any way to get rid of those?
