this type of door stop installs on the hinge pin. I have them all over my house and they work very well. Totally adjustable so the door opens as much or as little as you want it to.

You can either install this thing called a door stop which looks like a spring with a rubber tip on it, near the floor on the opposing wall, or you can install a hydraulic hinge on the top of the door, it would also close the door behind you automatically.

There are a variety of doorstops on the market, go to a hardware store. There are some that mount on the door or hinge, some that mount on the floor, and the standard ones for the wall.
This is a pretty easy job.

you can buy a door stop that goes on your hinges they work alot better than the ones you screw into the base board

Go to a hardware supply, get a chain made for that purpose. Screw it on the door and upper frame.
