I use KBS AquaKlean. It's an environmentally safe, heavy-duty, industrial strength cleaner. It comes as a concentrate and can make up to 10x's its volume. Just spray the tiles and scrub. You'd be amazed at the results. I used it on my boat to remove slime & algae.

There are many good tile cleaners at a pool supply house. Make sure you don't use everyday common cleaners to clog your filter system. Muriatic acid is a good cleaner, but be extra careful when using it.
