My husband and I are moving into a house that has been empty for about 6 months. The landlady says the previous people had mice. Their poop is all over the kitchen. I don't think there are mice now, since the place has been empty, but, how do we prevent them from coming back?
Thanks

I don't know what it's called but the chain isn't connected to the flush handle any more so it doesn't pull up the thing inside to make it flush.

There is no condensation coming from my A/C. I live in south Louisiana and the humidity is high here. Had it checked by a professional who said everything INCLUDING FREON was fine. The house does not get more than 10 degrees below outside temp. I keep the filter changed. The compressor is fine and there are no obstructions around the outside unit. The unit runs constantly and performed well last summer.

I do not want birds to roost in my trees which hang over my driveway. I was looking for a home-remedy, or spray that you can buy locally that would help me solve this problem. Don't want to shooting them, they only come out at night. On the internet I have found a 1 gallon jug of sticky stuff that you spray on the tree that cost $50.00 + shipping per tree. Would like to find something cheeper.

My wife swears that she was told not to ever use air filters with metal parts in our home's AC system. I think she was either told wrong or heard wrong, as so many filters are manufactured that way.
