I don't know where you live. But here in Oklahoma you can rent most anything at a equipment rental place.
Look in your phone book under rental equipment and start calling to see if they have house jacks and how much they rent for.

House Jacks are a specialty rental item. Most rental places won't have them. You can try to contact RSC (rental service center), they are nation wide and will have access to house leveling equipment. Good Luck

You can but them at home depot or Lows, they run about 25 dollars. If you are talking about the red poles in a person basement. those will screw up about 6 inches, I have used them to replace a block wall in a basement. I'm a mason contractor.
