I know they're not that expensive, but they raised my rent so if they are supposed to pay for them I'd gladly make them pay.

The bulbs are yours, if the fixture goes bad, that's the landlord's.

I live in Utah and I've always replaced my own lightbulbs - you can buy four of them for 96 cents at Smiths or Albertsons. This is not the landlords responsibility.

If the light is IN the apartment you are renting (your unit) or the home you are renting, then YOU have to replace the lightbulbs than burn out. This is true in ANY state. C'moon already, lightbulbs aren't THAT expensive!

well where I live a rental unit should come with all the light bulbs working, even the fridge & stove one, after that it,s up to the tennant to replace them.

No matter where you are, the lightbulbs are the tenants responsibility.
