well i will not use ice cube on the carpet cause will not work at all. other thing i wouldnt use water wont work either cause it will make the carpet get wet and keep the wax from the candle too sticken. so i would try to se youre own hands to pull it off or if doesnt work then i would use sissors to cut it little bit to take off the dried wax from the carpet. not alot just the part you see just throw it away. just go back to the carpet to see if there anything missing if not then when she comes home after her trip she wont even releazie there wasnt anything on the carpet at all.

To remove the candle wax, place a piece of brown paper grocery sack over the wax and then iron with a warm, not hot, iron. Keep moving the piece of brown paper around until all of the wax has been ironed onto the paper. Works every time.

SHOUT Ultra Gel laundry stain remover got my red candle stain out of my beige carpet. I tried carpet cleaner, vinegar, and rubbing alcohol like I saw online. After all 3 failed to completely remove the stain, I remembered I had a laundry pretreatment stick and I grabbed it. It has the bristles on top that help get deep into the carpet and clean where the other stuff wasn't getting to.

Use ammonia, like Parson's, which can be purchased at almost any grocery or retail store. Pour the ammonia onto a clean white rag ( if you use colored rags, the dye just may transfer into the carpet ) and rub it into the carpet until dissolved.
Test in a corner or on closet carpet first to make sure it won't discolor.

yes i did this about 6 months ago and freaked out...get a hairdryer and a paper towel, keep heating up the wax and soaking it up in the paper towel, it will take about 30-45 mins to get it all but it works i swear, try to scrape off the excess first with a butter knife or a credit card and then go at it!! good luck!
