This animal is getting into my garage through what must be a very small opening because I haven't been able to find it. I find droppings both inside and outside the garage. I live in the semi-rural mountains where there are many creatures including ground squirrels, grey squirrels, bobcats, skunks, rabbits, opposum, and etc. Can anyone identify a small animal that leaves droppings of this size? (2" long by 1/4" diameter in the shape of rat droppings).

All the doors and windows were locked. They broke a window in the door to get in. They did it in broad daylight at a time I am usually home. I was luckily out running errands. Only gone for about 3 hours. We own several vehicles so it's not like they thought nobody was home. All they took was a T.V.? We have 6 T.V.'s in the house? Millions of things that are worth more than the T.V. and easier to carry out? It looked as if nothing else was touched? Everyone is saying it is because they got scared but they wouldn't have done it at 3 in the afternoon if they were worried about being seen and you can't say it's cause they knew nobody was there cause I am usually home and as I said even when my roomate and I aren't home there is always at least 4 cars parked outside... I already thought about what if it is someone we know but when the cops got here they asked the neighbors and two of our neighbors said they seen black guys here. Well me nor my roomate associate with black people so

I know beekeepers on TV use some sort of smoke to put bees to sleep, but is it ordinary smoke (like from burning newspaper). The reason I ask is because I have bees that have a hole in my porch overhang and I need plug up the hole but I would like to do so in the safest way possible, and if smoke will work to put them to sleep, then I want to do that.

I have a floor that used to be covered with carpet. The carpet was removed and there is a tan colored glue left over. I have tried to use a large circular sanding machine and a hand sander, but both of these did not work. It seems like the fast motion and large amounts of pressure heat up the glue and melt it onto the sand paper. I have heard that paint thinners or scraping with blades work, but I need something that can work a little faster.

Please help, this is time sensitive.

Ok, when I lived in southern Oregon, we got these catalogs with gorgeous flowers in them, and we got them in the mail without requests. Does anybody know the name of this catalog? I don't receive it where I am now, and I really would like to know what catalog it is! It has Iris, Roses, Tulips, and other bulbs. I can't remember for the life of me what it was!

it has hidden hinges and the door is made of particle board with the hard cabinet door coating. the particle board has been broken away around the screw anchors. for one hinge I was able to replace the missing wood with sawdust mixed with wood glue. the other hings is still loose.
will epoxy work to glue in the screw anchor?
should I cover it with a metal plate and more screws?
the door is thin so I cannot install longer screws.

thank you

The engine of the Honda lawn mower starts and runs perfect but it has to be pushed. It started doing this last year but now it's terrible. The cable was out to the end of the adjustment so I replaced it and that didn't help one bit. What else could it be?

Theres this bee looking thing that flys around my house every so often. Its huge. Its reddish brown with white stripes. And it is loud. Louder than other flying insects. I can hear and see it comming 200 yds away, no lie. I've seen them at a work site. It was burried under saw dust, so I thought it was a carpenter bee, but I looked it up and none of the pictures even came close to it. I looked up flies and bees, none of them looked like it. A friend said it was a japanese hornet. So I looked that up and it wasn't that either. Has anyone else seen these bugs? Does any one know what they are?

I ask because I was thinking of buying some battery operated lights as gifts for some of our family in the U.K.(England), but I won't if I have to send along a lifetime supply of American batteries along as well.

I need to stop condensation from building up in my closed, below ground basement. It seems to be condensing on my domestic water copper piping from my well. I plan on insulating all the copper but also think I need a dehumidifier. The space is closed with concrete floor, cmu walls and is approximatly 700 SF.
