Hi there, if it is one that you can detach from the base, remove it, turn it over, and wrap the new cloth around it and staple gun it to the back. I've seen them do this on numerous redecorating shows like Trading Spaces. Good luck!

I assume these are normal chairs with just padded seats.

1 - Turn over the chair and find the 4 screws that hold the seat in place
2 - Unscrew the seat from the chair
3 - Purchase the clothe and cut to size, using the seat as a template and leaving 2 inches all around the edges.
4 - Optional, remove the old fabric by removing the staples. However, you do not have to remove the old fabric unless it is textured, a darker color than the new fabric, or you need to replace the foam (see below).
5 - Use a staple gun. Fold the fabric over the front edge of the seat and place a single staple in the center to hold in place.
6 - Stretch the fabric across the seat top and fold under the back edge, place a single staple in the center to hold in place.
7 - Working from the center to the corners, staple the fabric in place along the front and back edges of the seat, stretching and smoothing the fabric as you go.
8 - Repeat the same process on the two sides.
9 - At the corners, fold and tuck the excess into a tight corner, cutting away excess if you need.
10 - Screw the seat back onto the chair.

If you also need to replace the foam/padding. Buy the foam from a fabric store. Cut to shape and glue in place at step 4 above. Otherwise, the process is the same.
