I need to stop condensation from building up in my closed, below ground basement. It seems to be condensing on my domestic water copper piping from my well. I plan on insulating all the copper but also think I need a dehumidifier. The space is closed with concrete floor, cmu walls and is approximatly 700 SF.

multiply the 700 sf of space by the height of the room to get the cubic air space. Then get a humidifier that will handle that amount of CUBIC air space. Good Luck

700sf is pretty small, so any small dehumidifier can handle this task. Be sure you have a way to drain the tank on the dehumidifier, or else you will have to remember to dump water from its tank every day.
