Vinegar, but it is a bit smelly, try a packet of citric acid powder from your local chemist. Boil kettle, pour in powder, wait for it to cool. It,s cheap and effective and it will not harm your kettle etc, even if made of plastic.

I live in a very hard water area. It's a pain. My suggestions:
OUST for Kettles / Showerheads - that's not the saddo airspray, its sold in a small blue pack containing plastic sachets of a blue liquid. Works really well if you follow the instructions. Don't leave it too long before you descale a kettle or you might need more treatments. Viakal just doesn't cut the mustard in my house.
Use Harpic Limescale Remover for the bog. Found with the bleach and toilet cleaners - read the label so you get the right one. Again, regular cleaning is the key. Works a treat.
For shower doors, tiles and softer surfaces, try Mr Muscle 100% Limescale remover spray - bloody marvellous, especially on taps. Again, Viakal fizzes but does nothing useful when it's heavy scale.
Wear gloves and read the labels, these products are not designed with skin care in mind. Also, before you descale an iron make sure it is supposed to be descaled as not all of them recommend the use of descalers - sometimes they have a built-in inhibitor which you can sabotage.
Don't be tempted to scratch limescale off anything in case you accidentally slip and scrape, just repeat the treatments and be patient as they all work to soften the limescale.

I have only just been told, today, that if you throw your tea bags down the loo and leave them overnight, every night, it eventually cleans it up a treat! I put harpic round the taps for a couple of minutes and the limescale just wipes off - don't put it in your kettle though!!!!

i might supply it like a 2 or 3. a typical shot hurts lots extra. whilst they draw blood, they don't seem to be injecting or relatively sucking something out. they basically poke the needle into your arm and the blood clearly fills a vial. It burns somewhat whilst they first put in the needle, yet after some seconds the discomfort is going away. relatively, stubbing your toe or biting your tongue hurts tons extra effective than getting blood drawn. i've got had blood drawn a minimum of as quickly as, and that i've got given blood thrice. Its no longer something to be frightened of. Plus, you will in all likelihood get candy or something as a advantages, considering the fact which you're nevertheless a baby. fortunate...

I agree limescale is a pain - I live in SE London.
I used to almost give up until my partner introduced me to Mr Muscle 100% Limescale Destroyer......available in UK supermarkets.
Isn't this an amazing story? (If you're bored or desperate) Yes, my heterosexual male partner knew about this and our sinks, baths and loos are spotless!!
It has transformed my life!!
You will be amazed!!!!!!!

Viakal - it's expensive but does the job really well.
LimeLite is a slightly cheaper alternative - both work.
