I have a christmas tree farm and I'd like to incorporate livestock to help keep the tall grasses down. I've read that sheep and other ruminants can destroy shade trees, but would they destroy pines too?

I am unsure if I have place 1/2 inch Hardibacker or some other type of cement backer board over 3/4"plywood for my granite tile countertop. It is a small 2'x4' square(8-12X12 granite tiles total) that will be supported unbderneath. Thanks in advance for your responses.

It still works but smokes, and is about 20 yrs old and a lil worn. But it is metal and weighs a lot -seems like it would be worth something for scrap...? I would think that the cost of actually shipping it anywhere in the mail would cost more than it would be worth to anyone.

I just got a new Kenmore refrigerator with ice maker. I installed the water line following the directions exactly. I let it go for a few hours. It made a few pieces of ice. I looked behind and there was water on the floor. The connection at the fridge was leaking. I tried tightening it but no luck. I cut the end and put on a new compresion nut but that did not help. It appears that the leak is not from the compression nut but rather were the blue plastic first contacts the metal piece that the ferrule screws onto. I also noticed a good amount of water in the evaporation pan.

It makes this loud knocking noise asif someone were hitting it with a hammer. It only makes this noise when it begins running it's first spin cycle and i have ran it with and without clothes in it. It stops half way through the spind cycle. I would like to know how to fix it on my own without having to pay for someone to come and do the labor. The washer is a standard whirlpool top load. (this problem has nothing to do with un even loads so please don't respond with that answer.)
