Generally though, if a washing machine is rumbling, and noisy on spin, the main suspect is the drum bearings. Drum bearing failure is common on washing machines due to water getting into them if the drum bearing seal fails. To check for drum bearing failure you can take the belt off and spin the drum by hand. If the drum rumbles when spun then the bearings have probably gone. Another drum bearing failure symptom is excessive up and down play in the drum which can be checked for by lifting the drum up and down from the drum lip behind the door seal. A further symptom of drum bearing failure is a brown rust patch underneath the washing machine and down the back of the outer drum, underneath the drum pulley (where the belt goes) There are usually two small holes at the back of the drum bearings where water that has got past the drum bearing seal trickles out, and it's usually stained with grease and rust. I hope this helps.

It sounds like the balance weight is faulty, this is a concrete block that balances the drum, open up the back and see if the block has a bit missing if so you need to buy a new one it's usually only 4 bolts that hold it in place

I dont know how old the machine is but they are made now so generally it is not much more to buy a new one as opposed to repair. Sounds like the bearings but could be a belt hopefully.

That's sounds very familiar. I would say it's the same thing that happened to mine.
It sounds to me as though the concrete block located on the top of you washing drum has either come off its housing or it has come loose. The only way to check this is to take off the casing.

Sounds like the bearings have gone, it happened to our washer it was difficult to replace the bearings, as i had to take the machine to bits. worked OK after that , then something else went wrong so i bought a new one. Just think how much its going to cost to get repaired.

It sounds like the belt; if it is, you should be able to fix it yourself if your handy. If you can't use an electric drill or jigsaw then don't try it!
Try the library, you can get do it yourself manuals for mending stuff, and Haynes manuals.

it looks like the shock absorbers have gone , when it starts spinning rattles and then balances with the speed.that will damage the drum's bearing.fix it quick otherwise it will start jumping up an down,

It may be the belt or it could have a blockage.
