If you mean the corrugated kind then be very careful not to break it up or damage it when removing as this activates the spores and fibres (air borne).
Do contact your local environmental officer and he will probably advise you to contact a contractor who specialises in the removal of asbestos as it has to be removed under a controlled environment and disposed of in a specially licenced site.
Good luck and good on you for thinking about this. Too many people are still not aware of the hazards asbestos presents and just take it to the local tip to dump it. Thank goodness for new
legislation concerning asbestos disposal.

Key Message:
Although less hazardous than other forms of asbestos, White Asestos presents a real health risk.
Don't mess with it! Get an expert or at least call the council

My immediate answer would be no. From your verbiage, it sounds like you are in the UK so I am not familiar with the laws there as I am in California. I do know however that asbestos is a hazardous material and needs to be handled by hazmat professionals. To be on the safe side, I would recommend looking for a hazardous materials testing lab. You could also look up acoustic ceiling abatement companies to ask them where to dispose.

Try dumping yourself on the council rubbish tip. Actually no, you're more dangerous than the asbestos.

Asbestos comes under special waste, contact a waste company or your local council for advice. Under no circumstances must this just be dumped !

some councils have registered disposal facillities. either contact your local council environmental department or go to the local household waste centre. You will have to bag the waste, try not to break it up and most facillities require the waste to be booked in prior to delivery to the site

If you mean the corrugated sheeting then you may be able to. Ring your local council's environmental services department. They will know where the safest place to dispose of them is located.

No you certainly cannot. I really hope you are joking.
If you actually have asbestos contact your council for advice on its disposal.
And pray that your health has not been compromised.
