Spray the pillows with fabreeze (damp not wet)
Put them in the dryer on high heat for 15 minutes.
You can also stick them in a garbage bag and use the vacuum cleaner on them. Just hold the bag closed around the end of the nozzle and let it suck out all the air until the bag is flat. Repeat a few times letting air back in.

You can wash the pillows too. Not so sure about down pillows, though I believe you can. Stick them in the washing machine, it may become unbalanced, just move them around in that case. They do take a while to dry.

A dry cleaner will clean & recondition the feathers in a pillow and place them in new ticking.
Not sure if it's worth it though. You can buy a nice new pillow for what that would cost.

I throw my pillows into the wash also! The dryer helps fluff them back up once they are out. Just throw them in with a dryer sheet.
You can also try Febreeze if you like, OR set them out in the bright sunshine for a day or two.

Unless it's a feather pillow, toss it in the washing machine and then air dry.

Down can be washed. I do it all the time. Just use Woolite in the wash and dry thoroughly on medium heat.
