My period was three days early this month. They typically last about 4-5 days and are pretty heavy. This cycle has been light, and I am on day 9 now. I've never been on birth control.
I took a pregnancy test four days ago that came back negative, and I'm pretty sure that was accurate. But what could make it so long, early, and light this month? It seems like it hasn't been enough to "get it all out," so to speak.
Any ideas? Is there cause for concern at all?

Okay so I called the doctor and told them what was going on and they scheduled me for this friday. I'm just kind of curious in the mean time what could be going on. As I know nobody would know but mayby somebody else has experienced something like this. I was put on depo provera last month. I had my period for a month and it has gone away. Now, I'm having sharp pains in my left pelvic region. For the most part the pain is consistant and aching and what not. But I keep getting sharp pains there, and whenever I get my sharp pains I start to bleed vaginally, like a light period. As soon as the pains are gone, the blood goes away after a few hours. Has anyone experienced this before. What could be the reasoning for such a thing.

my boyfriend and i just started having sex a few weeks ago. he was a virgin and i wasnt. but whenever we have sex he has trouble keeping it in...it gets so frustrating sometimes. i love him to death and the last thing i want is for him to be embarassed or frustrated by not being able to keep it in me. any suggestions or words of advice?? has anyone ever had this problem before?

and I was just wondering if it is okay for me to wear a sleeveless shirt or a spagetti strap shirt. I have always wanted to and I have seen a lot of cute ones but I am very self conscious about wearing it because I am not skinny. I dont think of myself as fat and I dont hate my body, I know that I can loose some weight ( I weight like 140 and I am 5ft short) but I was just wondering if it would be okay? Thank you

I'm not PMSing, I finishes my last period over a week ago, but recently have had rapid mood swings that either come after or a bring a migraine. Out of nowhere I get very angry for no reason and can't calm down, then start crying, and after that I am back to normal. What is going on?

I have been on depo for 5 months and have been bleeding non-stop since my first shot....for my next shot i am thinking about asking the doctor about changing my method to the pill...is this a good idea. Is depo better than the pill?.......

I currently have a female doctor (and I am Canadian male) and I am wondering if I can go see another doctor for certain questions or symptoms. You see, my comfort level with respect to certain things is sensitive and I would feel much better seeing a male doctor, yet the female doc is really good for other stuff.

Here is my question: If I go see a second doctor and offer up my MSI # (which they certainly will need), will the other doctor find out or know that I went to see someone else?

Im getting married soon, and due to be on my period. The doctor gave me Norethisterone tablets to take three days before my period. And this is to last so that I could be delayed on my period for 1 week. Once I have finished those, I start my period. When I start my period I being on 'the pill' (this is the first time using them) for 21 days, then having a gab for 7 days, for another period and so on..... The question is, when I start on 'the pill' (the first day of my period) how long do I need before I can have sexual intercourse, whilst still on 'the pill'.

I need some help!! A while back I noticed a strange brown discharge when I went to the toilet! Not sure if this is strange or not and maybe I imagined it?? But it looked in the shape of a foetus!! I had no bleeding or anything but more recently I have started having bad stomach cramps!! Has anyone else experienced this? Sorry know is a bit personal but would be good to get some advice!!

We are going on a trip on Friday. I started my period Monday morning and I am not regular yet. My periods have only lasted 4 days in the past, but I am really scared this time that it won't be done by Friday. We swim a lot where we are going and I can insert a tampon, but I am scared it will leak. Is there anything I can do to make my period stop by Friday? I am not going to take any pills.

Im 6'4" 215 lbs and its 80 - 85 degrees in our bedroom. My wife is 5' 3" 130 lbs and says its way too hot to fall asleep. Why would she be too hot yet Im fine, I admit its warm, but not too hot. We cant turn on the AC because our 1 year old always gets sick when we turn it on, plus we want to conserve energy and money. Is there something about her diet or lack of excersize that she can change to help her sleep?

My girlfriend has been on birth control for a few years now and she was getting cramps a few days ago for her period, we had sex a few times, last time being monday. She claims her period usually comes on Tuesday afternoon but it's Wednesday morning now and i'm not sure if she's gotten it yet. Should i be nervous?

I have been on depo since febuary so I am on my second shot my next shot is due july 31st...but since my first shot i have been bleeding from febuary to now..what the hell is this?!?!
the bleeding is non stop....and if this is normal is there is no way I can get prego [not that I want to] because of the bleeding right?!

I'm talking about your female genitalia. I worry that I'm not normal. I remember as a child that it was just like a slit at the front and that's all you could see face on, now it looks like its all hanging out. Sorry if that's too much information! My inside labia are slightly larger from the outside but from the front its all on show. Is this normal? Am I making sense?!
