The pill has many benefits beyond protection from pregnancy. It can shorten periods, reduce cramps, help treat acne, regulate irregular cycles, treat ovarian cysts, and reduce the risk of certain kinds of cancer-namely ovarian and endometrial cancer. It does not increase your risk of breast cancer.

If you want to go on the pill but are not sexually active yet, you should see your doctor for a check up and discuss the possibility with him or her. Your doctor will be able to consider your health history and let you know if the pill is a good choice for you, and prescribe the appropriate one.

Of course you can. When i first started taking the pill I was not sexually active. I started taking it because I needed to regulate my period and help with cramps. Plus if you are on the pill before you are sexually active then when you do become active you have an extra line of protection. Also it is not true that everyone has a harder time conceiving. I know someone who was on it for about 10 years and she was off of it for a month and got pregnant.

Yes you can. But if you're not sexually active why would you want to? It can't hurt you but it can after years of use make it harder to conceive when you stop taking it. Also, you can take the pill to help regulate your period if it comes sporadically. But you should really talk to your doctor about it first befroe you decide to take it.

Why do you think that the side affects of the pill are listed verbally on commercials? So, that the drug company is not liable if you get a prescription.

Blood clotting, certain kinds of cancers and smoking increases theses risks and women over 30 also increases these risks etc.

The pill generation is the highest cancer generation on the planet. We never had such an epidemic before synthetic hormones were introduced to our world.

Synthetic hormones are not recognized by our cell enzymes and build up in the tissues of our bodies. In affect, it causes cancer.

Well, its certainly up to you, but synthetic hormones are responsible for bone loss, increased osteoporosis, and heart disease. A longitudinal study had to be abandoned because hormones that were supposed to prevent these problems were actually increasing these problems.

For those ladies who are on compound hormones, they are not natural. They are also synthetic. There are natural alternatives out there, but you have to be open minded to learning how to obtain what you need.

A saliva test has to be read from 7 samples throughout the day to get an accurate reading. You have 7 hormonal surges a day that are unique to your own system. A blood test or a one time saliva sample are not accurate.

Once the samples are analyzed from 7 samples throughout the day, you will learn what is going on with your hormonal system, when your body releases your progesterone's, estrogens etc... but how you can address a problem naturally.

The same goes for men. Men have hormones, too.

Yes, there's no reason not to. I recommend Yasmine. It will regulate your period and help control cramps if that's an issue for you. I know this from experience.

Sure you can. In cases of bad acne birth control is prescribed. So see your doctor about your acne (if you have any) and you will get a prescription.
