What you could do is go to your doctor at this point and see if they can make sure you have enough refills until you get a doctor in Ontario. My doctor gave me a years worth (so 11 refills) for my prescription of birth control.

In the US you DON'T have to go to Planned Parenthood. Every county has a public health clinic. You just have to look it up in the government pages under the health department! In Ontario I don't know, do you know anyone there? Perhaps you could ask around.

Planned Parenthood does lots of abortions, and for some people this is a problem to go to a building where babies are killed. Some people don't see it that way, and they are fine with Planned Parenthood. I used to go there, in spite of my opposition to abortion, and disgust with being in a building where they did such horrendous things. Then I scheduled an appointment and asked them if they did exams in the same room as abortions, and they said yes they did. That was more than I could take. To be in a room where the last thing someone did was (possibly) kill someone was more than I could deal with.

Planned Parenthood offers Birth Control on a sliding scale based on your income, or on a donation basis if you're not insured of under age. You still have to go in for a walk in appointment with one of their doctor's, but it's worth it and you can get a one year prescription for nearly free. Check to see if Ontario has any free clinics or Planned Parenthoods. I'm not sure if Planned Parenthoods are only in the U.S. or not. But that would be my first choice.
