We are going on a trip on Friday. I started my period Monday morning and I am not regular yet. My periods have only lasted 4 days in the past, but I am really scared this time that it won't be done by Friday. We swim a lot where we are going and I can insert a tampon, but I am scared it will leak. Is there anything I can do to make my period stop by Friday? I am not going to take any pills.

Also on another answer it said to drink 1T of vinegar a day to stop your period for 1 day. Is this true?

As it usually lasts for 4 days, it should stop, only thing is that you are too tense and it may prolong the period, so, relax! good luck!

You can't do anything to stop your period and tampons are perfectly fine. It shouldn't be too heavy by Friday if you're still on your period and it typically only lasts four days. So a light tampon should do the trick. Insert one in right before you go swimming so it shouldn't leak. They can hold up for a good 4-5 hours so make sure you change it regularly. You should be fine within a few days though and you can enjoy the rest of your trip without period worries.

A normal period last about 7 days! If yours only last 4 days on average, then you should be fine by Friday! There is really nothing that you can do to stop it.
When you are on your period and you get into the water, your vagina kinda closes up! (in a sence) You will not leak expecially if you have tampon in. And IF you are still on your period on Friday, it should be very light and will not mater!

When you are in the water your period virtually stops, and the chance of leaking is really small with a tampon. Just make sure you tuck the string in your bathing suit and insert a new one before swimming. There is no way you can stop your period without pills, and its to late for that anyway!

There's nothing you can do. Your tampon won't leak (especially since you will be so far along in the cycle) Just be sure to change it after 8 hours, sooner if you are swimming.

You can't stop it and you can't control it.
You said it usually last for 4 days and from monday to friday is 5 days so you have a big chance to enjoy the trip.
Good luck!

You can't really DO anything at this point.
Just hope it stops by Friday, or bring tampons with you.
If you have a heavy flow change them every four hours or so.
They shouldn't leak if you put them in correctly.

There's nothing you can do. You just have to let it run its course and hopefully it will be gone by friday!
