my periods are usually 8-10 days long, heavy, and are on a 20 day cycle! i need cures! is there any way to make them a little lighter and shorter besides pills and dr?

The only thing you can do to regulate your period is go on birth control. Sorry, but that's the way it is.

Sorry to say it, but you do need to see a doctor. You are at risk of developing anemia from blood loss. If a cause can be found it will be treated, but most likely they will put you on bc to regulate hormones. One possibility is if it is poly cystic overies, you can be treated with the pill, diabetic medication (not insulin, pills like metaformin), or following a diabetic diet.

Get a check up to find out the cause. It will need treatment. BC pills will be indicated if no cause is found.

like the smart ones before me said...only birth control (pills). but i find it weird that your period lasts 8 to 10 days...the max is usually 7 days...hmmm...see a doctor!

Nope. Pills are the only things that will help.
