My mother is 51 years old and is going through Peri Menopause and she often has hot flushes and nausea which last all day or all night long.
Does any one else have this problem?
How have you dealt with it?
Any advice would be appreciated, thankyou

ok im 19 and from what ive read i should want to have sex alot......but i dont and its frustrating my boyfriend that ive been with for 3 years. hes 25 and wants to have sex more than i do. is there something wrong with me should i talk to a doc about it? i know i shouldnt be at that point yet where i dont want sex all the time.....any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. mature people only please. i dont need any immature answers.

What are the symptoms of an under active thyroid? As I'm worried I have it, I keep meaning to go to the docs but feel a little silly telling them my symptoms!

I'm always feeling cold, can't loose weight (I eat healthily), I feel tired all the time, my periods stopped, I ache a lot, sometimes I have no appitite and others I feel hungry all day, and there is a family history of thyroid problems. It's been going on for a while but I keep thinking it might just be that I'm looking too much into it.

Has anyone out there had these or similar symptoms? And if so did they get them checked out? And what was up? Could it be my thyroid or something else?

do you think that i can get any bad things in my genital area if my dog is licking it?? please help idk if theres going to be any bacteria or other things that can get in it there from its mouth.

My mom and I dont like each other anymore, we havent talked to each other [not a single word] for two weeks and have been ingoring each other. It really hurts me and I want her to see me hurt so she'll know. I've also been gaining weight like crazy. I weighed myself, like 6 days ago and today I weighed myself again...I gained 6 pounds and feel heavier and look chubier. I've been eating junk food and I ususally am a well get together girl and orangized but not these past couple of weeks and I keep crying because im gaiinng weight [its horrible]. I let myself go

1 am 34 year old women i wear the proper fitting bras but over the past couple years i have noticed that i am getting crevices in my shoulders wear my strap sits(i am well endowed)

i just became sexually active at age 21 and i got my first BV infection when i starting to having sex with my boyfriend at that time. So i took medication but didn't finish it because i missed those dose and i was feeling better. So i was fine for couple of weeks until my first boyfriend and i broke up and I hooked up with a new guy and had sex wit him, after couple of days i notice that i have BV again. So i went to doctor after 2 or 3 weeks and she put me on Flagyl 750 ml for 7 days (1 tablet everyday). I started to feel better in the beginning but after 4 day i notice that i still have irritation and discharge. Today is my 7 days and i still have the discharge and foul smell. What should I do?. Will it go away? Do I have something serious?. Help me please.

And by light, I mean very thin. My periods have always been abnormal so I'm never quite sure when I'm supposed to get them. I noticed today that it looked as though I was on my period but the blood was thin and watery, not like the usual periods I have at all.

I've had what I think is another fungal infection within my labial folds (that the doctor gave me medication for the last time I was there) for a few weeks, could that be involved? Should I wait this out and see if the bleeding goes away after a few days?

Also, I'm 21 and have never had sex.

Ok, so i finished my period on monday. Today during gym, i started to feel my period again and boom, there it was. It stopped kinda sorta shortly but today is thursday. Is this normal and what could have caused this?

when ever i use a tampon it really hurts, i know this isnt normal so whats wrong? it hurts when i put it in and take it out and i know your not surpose to even notice it when its in but for me it is painful

I'm not getting my tubes tied!!!!!!!!!!!!! but I'm 9 months pregnant w/ #5. The youngest being a year next month. What do you other ladies reccomend as the best birth control? I'm 26 and healthy and not allergic to any kinds of medicine. What's your advice?

I am a pre-op transsexual currently going through hormone treatments. Considering my age and genetic makeup, I will probably not develop much more than an A cup breast size. I want so much to fill out a bra with at least a B or C cup, but also want to avoid any health issues. After all, what I intend to go through can be considered pretty drastic surgery in and of itself. I am not so much looking for answers as I am looking for advice. Thanks.

I was taking the Loestrin24Fe birth control pills. I am not sure if this was normal, but 3 days after my period went off, it came back on and stayed on for about a month. Is that normal for the first month/time taking the pills???

i'm 14 years old and i HATE getting my period. i really really wanna use a tampon but i'm SO scared!! I have between for 3 years having blood between periods. (I am 17) It starts on 10 to 12, just a little now and then sometimes red and soemtimes brown, and then on the 17 to 19 the same. it is only a little, that just stain the pants, but not stain the trousers. what could this be?

i took pills for 6 months and then my gyneac asked me to have a implanon in my arm Its been 7 months but i never had my period since sep2005 since i had my 2nd baby except in dec from dec 1 to dec 10 not too heavy but never came back again this also happened with my first baby i had period only once and then i got pregnant is this ok(my gyneac says that its ok) not having period is this because of the implant or because of breastfeeding which i stopped last week or is it because i am very skinny

please I need help as I'm out of town and can't go to the doctor right now, I will when I go back home though.

First I started with the symptoms of a bladder infection and a doctor prescribed me antibiotics but I wasn't gettign any better so I went to another doc who runed some blood and urine tests (jan 9) and as they were normal, he told me to stop taking the antibiotics and gave me another medicine and the symptoms were gone.
Then i started with what felt like a vaginal infection and my gyno gave me some vaginal tablets which I used for 7 days, 3 days after finishing this treatment I was feeling fine except for a slight , yet persistant pain in my lower back which lasted for only a day, then I felt fine for like a week untill last night when I felt the urge to pee, and it kind of burned , it was like all of my urine was acid and was burning my bladder and uretra and there were white talc like particles on it. after that i've been peeing with no symptoms.

I had my baby on Dec 13th and what I thought was my period the 16th -21st of Jan...I started my birth controll( mini pill) on the 23erd and I'm breastfeeding and formula feeding. But I have what seems like a period every other week. Has anyone else had this?

I talked to my doc and she said that it seems normal but that If Im still bleeding in a few days then to come back in.

The thought of having sex really scares me, and I don't know why, or how to get over it. I'm 24 years old, I've never been sexually abused or anything like that. Any time a guy tries to touch me below the waist I just end up getting upset and pushing them away, even though I do want things to go further. What should I do?
