I would get a 2nd opinion from a really good OBGYN
Ask one of your friends Mom's who you trust or can easily talk to,
Ask her if she has a good Gyno or OBGYN...tell her you are having spotting, and see her doctor.
ASk, Ask as many women you can who their obgyn is, and if they like their doctor, and if their doctor listens!!!

I had female problems from the time i started my mens.

I did have spotting, and they put my on the pill to regulate my periods.

Do you have pain above your ovaries? I had sharp pains on left side, and it was Endometriosis!!! I had to have surgery.
If you are having ovary problems, they can do an ultrasound (painless) and they can tell if you have something that's not right with your ovaries, and their production!

There are so many treatments for this condition now adays!
But do go see another doctor until you get one you can talk to, and one that listens to you!!

Often times you can call different doctors, a Specialist OBGYN or Gynocologist, ask them what they do for spotting in mid month, and tell the doctor it is a problem for you and IT'S NOT NORMAL!!

I PREFER FEMALE GYNO DOCTORS!!
they really listen! and besides, they bleed! (sorry to be gross)
If this is your family doctor, IT'S TIME TO SEE THE GYNO, OBGYN SPECIALIST!

**you know if this were a MALE and he was spotting and staining his pants, THEY WOULD HAVE A CURE FOR IT!!!**
--SO STAY Vigalent and See your New Doctor (female obgyn)
hopefully a mom of a friend or your Aunt or a trusted older Female can give you a good referral. THIS IS NOT NORMAL-- you don't have to live like this, and DON'T STOP WITH THE DOCTOR UNTIL YOU GET SOME TEST, OR A DIAGNOSIS!!!!

Ask the doctor, if it was your sister, aunt, or mother, would this be normal? how would they be treated.

Good luck!! I hope they help you, and you find a MOM figure who has a good obgyn

it just means your hormones are being weird, this is usually normal for your age, it happened to me when I switched birth controls so if your taking that, it could be why. if you've been under a lot of stress, etc. It never lasted that long for me though, but if you're not having any other symptoms, it's probably not a big deal. If your still not satisfied, I would see a doctor.

Good question. I have had the same problem and I went to the clinic about it and they changed my birth control prescription to a higher estrogen dosage. Even though they've changed it, I still have the same problem. I went back and they told me it's probably too much stress. So what wtf are we supposed to do about that? My suggestion to you: If you're not on birth control get on it and it should help. If you are on it, try higher estrogen. And if you turn out to be like me with nothing to help you: Just be a biotch all the time and tell everyone it's because you're on your period :)

This is spotting, which is caused by an imbalance of hormones early in a woman's menstrual cycle. There is no way to stop it, unless you take copious amounts of estrogen and progesterone, which is only legal if you have a chronic hormonal imbalance.

I think you should go to the doctor and get some advice. It may be part of your natural cycle, but it could be something problematic. They may be able to give you something to help it - must be a real nuisance.

Good luck!

Medically speaking, I don't know, you really should see an obgyn, this could affect your chances of ever bearing children or possibly something even worse. Good Luck
