And by light, I mean very thin. My periods have always been abnormal so I'm never quite sure when I'm supposed to get them. I noticed today that it looked as though I was on my period but the blood was thin and watery, not like the usual periods I have at all.

I've had what I think is another fungal infection within my labial folds (that the doctor gave me medication for the last time I was there) for a few weeks, could that be involved? Should I wait this out and see if the bleeding goes away after a few days?

Also, I'm 21 and have never had sex.

The medication is Clotrimazole cream to be applied twice to the skin. It might be possible that the episodes I'm having now (sometimes sore labias with what looks like a fungal infection between the folds) is actually something else, like maybe a yeast infection?

I'm not sure if i understand. Do you have a yeast infection?

Most times when i get a yeast infection, even though it is internal it effects me external on my labias. It becomes inflamed and very irritate. I do not like the feeling. It looks as though my labia itself has an infection. Is that what you are talking about. If so. Eat a yogurt a day. Drink at most a gallon of water or at Least 6 glasses a day. I swear by pomegranate juice, unsweetened grapefruit juice, and cranberry juice. Bath often. Try not to itch.

The bleeding may have came from the irritation of the vaginal walls.
Or if you have done any scratching. I think you should wait it out but if you are really worried you should go to your doctor.

Oh You go girl 21 and never been touched, i wish that was me. Good luck and feel better.
