this is a silly question for most people i think but how can a girl check if the hymen is intact without the help of anyone..?

#1 You really can't...you would need lighting, tools, mirrors and the knowledge to know what you are looking for, #2 If you are asking because you want to see if you still appear to be a virgin, you should know that many girls rupture the hymen membrane long before losing their virginity..it can be done by falling on your pelvic floor, hitting yourself on the bar of your bike, etc...the notion that intact hymen =virginity is old-fashioned and has been scientifically disproven as a sure-fire way to tell.

Get a mirror and look. Hymen is just extra tissue surrounding the opening (introitus) May need to separate your labia to see.

well the only way to check thats no where near scientific is, attempt to insert a tampon. if it doesnt go or there is pain i would say with a 50% certainty you still have it. but only a dr. will know for SURE.. good luck

You can check it with a mirror but I wouldn't worry about it.
It can be damaged with tampons, sports, etc.
