Just remember that males hit their sexual peak well before females. I think I read that a female doesn't hit their sexual peak until their late 20's early 30's. He is currently in his sexual peak(for males starts late teens to their late 20's). It is normal for someone your age to not want it all the time. If he really loves you he will be understanding of the fact that you don't have a high sex drive.

I've been with my bf now for 2 years, and we are getting married. i am 21. we always had sex a lot when we first got together, and it is still really amazing, possibly even better than it was before, but i don't want to have sex all the time anymore either. i think it's because we are so used to it, and it doesn't seem that important anymore. I'd rather just cuddle up on the couch than have sex. i think it's pretty normal. i find myself wanting to have sex more when i have my period now, than i do when I'm not.

im 22 and have been in a similar situation as you a few times before. its very frustrating. there could be many factors contributing to the way you feel. i was taking meds that had the side effect of decreased sex drive. i never felt like it. i could take it or leave it. another time i was so stressed from school that i couldnt even think about sex. also, a few days before i start my period i dont even want to be touched...anywhere. i cant stand to be touched at all. it drives me crazy. a womans body is hard to understand even when its your own. think about a few of these factors to see if its the underlying cause of your decreased sex drive. you may come out of it suddenly. if its really getting in the way of your life then see your gyno. she probably sees your type of situation everyday! hope this helps! dont stress....itll only make it worse.

I was going through the same thing. But for me, I knew i could get it anytime I wanted because he was always ready. But it was a HUGE turn off when he would want it all the time. Its completely normal, nothing to see a doctor about. Think about it this way, if you didn't have a boyfriend, you'd probably want it way more just because you know it wont be there when you want it. Absense makes the heart grow fonder...so maybe if you laid off sex and tried to think about it instead, youd want it

I think its just a woman thing, I am married for 5 years now, and we don't have sex that often, my husband wants it more than me, I used to earlier, but not anymore, I don't think its a big deal as long as ur boyfriend/husband doesn't mind.
