Women's Health - January 2007

Ok...heres the deal. I have been trying to get pregnant for a year now, in August I stopped everything, the provera the fertility drugs everything. Well basically if I am not on anything, I will not have a period. Well in December I had one come on ON ITS OWN. But it lasted awhile, so the doc asked me if I would be alright going on a low dose BC just to get me regulated. Remember I am not taking anything as of then. So I said I guess. I mean I want to get pregnant, but I guess I need to get regulated first. So he put me on Yaz about 4 weeks ago, well 3 days ago I was supposed to start and didnt. So I just now 1:30pm took a test, one of those dollar store brand, and of course it was negative. My question is why am I not starting like I am supposeed to, and 2ndly why are my boobs so sore. I guess I just have never experienced all this before. Its like I want a baby so bad, but its like it never works out. When I start seeing symptoms I get excited. Anyway what to do. BLAH!!

I take birth control and they have the yellow pills, which keep you from having your period. Then for a week they have white pills, which is allowing you the time to have your period. Well, I went straight from yellow to yellow, and skipped the white because I didn't want to start my period. Well a while later I still started it on the yellow pills. In less than a week I will be on the white pills, and I don't know if I will get another period, or it I just messed up my whole period cycle now? Has anyone done this before and what happened?

Please help me. I had a hysterectomy a few months ago and since then instead of feeling better, i feel much much worse. I have bad headaches all the time and sometimes they turn into migraines in which I have to go to the doctor and get a shot. I feel horrible all the time like I have the flu, fever,upset stomach etc. I also have no appetite for sex!! My husband isn't happy, I might feel like sex twice a month!! I am going to my doctor who performed the surgery in a couple of weeks.Do you have any advice for me.I am 32 years old and feel 52!! I still have one ovary left,maybe it's not doing it's job. I've heard maybe I'm anemic or have thyroid problems or IBS or peri menapause...I need help.Living with a constant headache and tired all day(I forgot to mention that part) I'm tired and sleepy all the time. This is not a life,this is a slow painful death for me and my marriage,he tries to understand but he IS a man.What does he know about hormones and lack of sexual appetite? Help me ....

Durin an operation to check my fertility, the consultant 'knocked' my bladder and caused a 7cm blood clot (!) Since then both my bladder and bowel have ceased functioning..however there have been improvements to my bladder but for my bowel, its a sad story (!)...At this stage now...i have not 'pass through' in FIVE MONTHS!!! In addition to this......I have been 'fobbed' off that i might have MS.....(!)(Due to the similar symptoms that i have possessed in the 'botch' operation!)
I have just undergone transit studies and the consultants has actually mentioned puttin a 'bag' on poor little me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can anyone beat this what was a bad and horrific experience for me???!!!!

My oldest daughter just had my little grandson and I see her feeling helpless about her new appearance and all I can do is just try to comfort and love her for who she is not on how she looks, but hey she's a teenager so to her, her looks are everything. I've been going to the gym 5 times a week for an hour,for the last six weeks.I was expecting my period 9 days ago but nothing til now. a couple of days ago i had a stomach cramp, but apart from that no breast tenderess or any other signs.I'm married and 99% sure no chance of pregnancy but am really getting worried. has this happened to anyone of you?

i just had paragard inserted yesterday and it went very well, i experienced light cramps and very light bleeding afterwards now it seem as though my light bleeding has stopped the next day which is today,also my light cramps stopped last night.by me having a relatively easy insertion/experience so far with no pain or anything since yesterday,could this mean that my uterus is taking well to the paragard and that i will have a postive experience with it?

I just want to know if anyone has experienced the same problem I'm having s I did my research and will call my Gyno if this continues.

Problem:

My period was late 7 days and when it started the flow was really minimal. Not spotting but minimal and on going for 7 days with same flow level.

Background info:

I'm 24 urs old.Normal period for past 10 yrs.90% on time.Got off BC in sept and was on for only 1 month. Last time had sex 2 weeks b4 period suppose to hit.

Lifestyle changes in the past month or 2:

*Started going to the gym after 2 years of not really working out. I am running and working out for about 1-1 1/2 hours 3 times a week
*Diet is the same or may be healthier.
*Moved to a new apt.
*Nothing really stressful out of the norm or traumatic happened. *job is not stressful.
*Dont have a bf to stress over but did break up with someone I really liked and was dissapointed. That was it! As far as stress
*no infection, illness, new medication, no trauma etc

Before I start any inappropiate answers wil be reported.
I had the mirena UID fitted last monday, I bled for a few hours after & had cramps & was heavily spotting for 3 days. That was to be expected. After a week when I stopped spotting altogther I thought it would be ok to have sex, but after I had terrible cramp & was bleeding, is this normal? This has happened twice. & despite having sex yesterday I'm still bleeding & have slight cramp.
I know I should see a doctor if i'm worried but If it's normal I wish not to waste her time.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I started my period when i was 13. now im 18. My periods were fine at the beinging . It started around 15 when it started to change. I was on for longer and heavery, sometimes 3 mounths i was on for and when i stop i would be on again after 2 to 3 weeks or storter. Ive been to 2 doctors and they said they didnt know or it could be hormone imbalance or something else. Im now on and ive been on for a month. Its not good for me because im loseing blood. Please help me if you know anything.

I'm anxious to find out if I can pause my period for just a few more hours. Having heard that sex itself sometimes releases just enough hormones to perhaps accomplish this, I wanted to find out if it's just anecdotal, or if a lot of people experience this?
