Ok...heres the deal. I have been trying to get pregnant for a year now, in August I stopped everything, the provera the fertility drugs everything. Well basically if I am not on anything, I will not have a period. Well in December I had one come on ON ITS OWN. But it lasted awhile, so the doc asked me if I would be alright going on a low dose BC just to get me regulated. Remember I am not taking anything as of then. So I said I guess. I mean I want to get pregnant, but I guess I need to get regulated first. So he put me on Yaz about 4 weeks ago, well 3 days ago I was supposed to start and didnt. So I just now 1:30pm took a test, one of those dollar store brand, and of course it was negative. My question is why am I not starting like I am supposeed to, and 2ndly why are my boobs so sore. I guess I just have never experienced all this before. Its like I want a baby so bad, but its like it never works out. When I start seeing symptoms I get excited. Anyway what to do. BLAH!!

What to do is calm down. It is very well known that women can get so stressed out about getting pregnant that they ruin the chance to get pregnant. Something to do with the balance of hormones and ups and downs and all inside. There are scientific terms, but the old-fashioned "you get stressed" is probably adequate.

So work on learning relaxation techniques. Yoga. Meditation, aromatherapy, massage, whatever it takes. Embark on a quest for serenity. And name the baby accordingly! LOL

i would wait a day or so and see if it starts. stress can sometimes cause a missed or late period, and it seems like you must be pretty stressed. if it still doesnt start and your symptoms get worse, go to your doc.
