My oldest daughter just had my little grandson and I see her feeling helpless about her new appearance and all I can do is just try to comfort and love her for who she is not on how she looks, but hey she's a teenager so to her, her looks are everything. Is there anyone that can give us a little help we will greatly appreciated, thank you so much.

I dont know what really helps except time you get over it i mean i was a stick thin person when i got pregnant at 17 and thought that stretch marks were the end of looking good but here i am at almost 22 with 2 kids and the marks i have are from creating life it happens and she will move on with time i know i have. Although i still have my moments when i look at myself and wish i could go cut them off or something and bring myself down a little thats about the time that one of my kids will do something that warms my heart and makes anything worth it or if not my kids then a family member or husband does something to cheer me up and that feeling is gone sooner than it had crept up. So my advice is she can try what she wants, let time and family heal her, or that she can start saving to get work done on getting them removed whether its laser or tummy tuck or some other procedure so be there when she needs it and remind her that looks arent everything life is so help her stay focused on baby and getting where she can make something for her self down the road and be strong grandpa and congrats hope i could help some

Get rid of Stretch Marks?

In the pharmacy you might be able to find stretch mark lotion. I've also heard it called pregnancy coco-butter. It's just a lotion that you put on once or twice a day and it can help fade the look of stretch marks. Ask someone at the pharmacy, they should be able to help you find the right thing. Congratulations, grandpa!

tell her to buy Palmer's Cocoa Butter for strecth marks. i have many friends who are young mothers try it and they swear by it. they say it fades the stretch marks if applied to them at least 3 times each day. it works great. but remember she has a baby now so she needs to also make sure she focuses on her baby and not just her good looks. good luck.

I would be more worried about the fact she is a teenage mother than her stretch marks.
